Cross country skiing

anyone do it? to me that shit is ill. i regret shitting on it as youth. i tried it once and its a lot of fun if your in shape.

i did it alot last winter after not having done it for a long time. i really like it. i lived right by a golf course which was great for skiing around on, and a ranch that had a whole system of trails. good exercise and a fun way to travel around when theres snow everywhere. i actually went out once already a couple weeks ago, when there was about 4 inches of snow on the ground. got a couple weird looks.

dood...xc skiing is pritty fun...im on my skoolz team and i actually do the races...but most of the time we spend building jumps and hucking shit...last year we landed some mistys and 7's...it's pretty sweet to also go to a downhill area show ur pass and hit up the park...we nailed the booter at bolton couple times last year...so in the end its pretty fun...unless ur a clutz and cant stand up...

I dont like it at all. We had to do it so much in elementary school and first it was cool and all but then it started sucking after a while. Never wanna do it again but i have to when i gotta go to the military

i raced all through high school. we made it to state and had a ton of fun on ski trips and stuff. met a few olympians and got to ski with them. and i used to actually have a defined six pack i could run like 10 miles and had a nice body. fuck now im skinny and cant run a mile. its terrible.

yeah i definatly did it throughout highschool. i raced at easterns and all that, it sucks and its really fun. i learned a shit load of downhill tricks on nordic skis like 3s and backflips. the set up is so much lighter. it also gives u the best conditioning for alpine, you legs get ripped

I grew up cross country skiing, man. I didn't start downhill skiing until i was 14. I still do x-country alot cause we have some nice trails for it on PEI and also sometimes I cross country ski with my twins and shovel to the 'backcountry' to build jumps. Its so cool also at night when teh moon is really bright- such a good time to be outside in winter.

^word night time is the right time in the mountains for me at least. full moon session are magical (ive only experienced.) the fact that its all about flow(at least alot of it cause physical fitness is real important to) gets me real pumped, im gonna go alot this winter :)

I can't do tricks, cause I use the old school wooden ones and leather lace up boots with the old bindings, and I don't wnat to break them or my ankles. Downhill is aweosem one them though.

i used to race xc back in the day. it's a serious little world. i got over those little suits pretty though. those things are thiner than alpine racers'

i have a lot of friends who do it and they love it, keeps you in great shape and it coulf deff be a lot of fun

i went twice in gym class 3 years ago.

it was pretty fun, i'd do it again if i had a friend who knew something about it
