been wearing them as an alternative to flip flops for about 2 years. only if i know im gonna be doing something where i will be in the water though...or just wround sometimes if i dont care what i look like. pretty comfy.

they are comfortable, and they dont hold smell at all. i wear them when im going down to the river(which smells horrible, so they are perfect, other sandals smell after one day) or at regattas, and occasonally just around.

That's the only reason people have of buying them, because they're comfortable. I've worn a pair for a few minutes just because a friend let me and I've got to say they ARE NOT as comfortable as people say they are. It's just another fad and everyone is buying them to be a part of it and not because they're comfortable. Personally I'd rather wear my shoes instead of those ugly ass Barbi doll excuses for foot wear.

as for crocs i think they are a waste of money.. you can buy the exact same thing only it isnt the croc brand for 1.99 at any dollar store.

i think crocs are similar to uggs, they look terrible only they are very comfortable so people still wear them.
