CRJ Skis

1) search bar2) gear talk3) i have skied the 183 (i think thats the length) and they ski decently in pow, but compared to other powder skis i have ridden (JJ's, Bentchetlers, and S7s) CRJs basically just feel like a dead plank. this is a feel some people love, but I cant really stand it.

Ahhh ok. I haven't really ridden any of those skis but my friend has SFB's and he loves them. He says if you want something that will float but you can still get to the gondola/chair with no problem on hardpack, they're great. EP Pro's would be a great choice for deep pow.

I don't want to be disagreeable, but I've never heard anyone all the CRJ "dead." I've skied a lot of skis, and the CRJs are the most fun ski I've ever been on. This year they have become the only ski I ride unless I'm going to ski park. I ski them in crud, bumps, groomers and I love them, but once you get them into pow, they are really at home.

Compared to say the Hellbents (which I've skied a lot, too), they are a lot more nimble, and if you're trying to land jumps they are a lot more stompy with a stiffer tail than the Hellbents or S7s.

Come on dude.. Searching and thinking yourself doesnt hurt or cause brain damage, try it sometimes..

180cm: 126x115x124

115 underfoot will give you plenty of float, the design looks really surfy due to the reverse sidecut in the tip and tails (look good at the image on the 4frnt site, you can see what i mean)

CRJ's are good less playful and washy then say the bacon which is what I ride. I'll say I had a little more trouble with them switch in pow then the bacons also. HellBents are definetly slower to turn but faster overall.

I like the bacons better.
