CRJ Sizing

Hey guys, I'm about to pick up a pair of CRJ's, but I can't decide between the 172 and 180's. I am 5'7" ~170 lbs. give or take 5 lbs. I ski in Montana, mainly at Big Sky. Majority of skiing that I will do with these are cliffs 10-15 ft. nothing insane, pow days, and anything on the peak (Chutes, bowls, gullies). I'm thinking of going with the 180's because of the rocker and the type of skiing I will be doing.

Thanks for any help!

Hey man, go 180. I'm 5'7 as well and I'm getting the 180s too:)

You'll enjoy the extra length for floatations and also they ski short with the tocker and taper

Yeah those are the ones I pulled the trigger on. I think they'll give me better stability and I can handle the length so I figured why now. Thanks for the input man

when i first bought my crjs i was about 5'11 or so and i got the 188s. they were long, but ive grown into them and they are perfect. in your situation i would definitely go 180. it will help a lot with the flotation and stability. cheers man, hope you enjoy your crjs as much as i do!

I am 5'9 and 180 lbs. and I ride the 180s. They don't have loads of rocker compared to other pow skis, and they have a good amount of camber. 180 should work well for you
