Critique?

I'm gonna be as thorough as possible since this edit is really fucking good man
-First shot is beautiful. Incredible grading-The colored text was really cool, but the 'presented by' text felt a little amateur, maybe if it was bolder? Idk, I'm no good with text-make sure all your text fades evenly-blacks were a little too blue in the first skating shot, but the way you sequenced the first two skating shots was real nice-shot at 00:29 was a little dark. bring up the mids a little more on shots like that-shot at 00:45 was composed really well and graded perfectly. however, the next shot's grading didn't quite match; it wasn't as flat. -shot at 00:53 could have used a nice tilt down, but the static shot works well too-at 00:54, watch for black gaps between clips-shots at 00:58 and 1:01 were both composed and graded very well-shot at 1:13 was dope-shot at 1:17 was REALLY dope-shot at 1:21 was equally dope but could have been brightened up-shot at 1:23 was perfect and in my opinion should have been the closing shot. the close-up you had after it was nice but the first angle was amazing. would have liked to have seen that whole shot play out. -nice song choice!

again, really dope edit nik, amazing work

couple more things!!
i would love to hear you maybe play with the skate/ski/ambient audio more in the future. it can really add a lot and i'm sure you would do a great job with it
do you have any sort of slider or dolly? if you don't you should definitely invest in one, especially for a skatepark. there are so many angles and shapes that a slider or dolly can really emphasize the depth of a skatepark

i can't help you with filming or editing much but there were a few shots that maybe should have been moved to get more of what was happening in the shot

but i really liked that you had skateboarding, bmx, and rollerblading in one edit

Will pretty much got it. Only other thing is you left a frame of space between several cuts, I always zoom in and scroll along the entire timeline when I'm finished with an edit to ensure I don't miss any of those.

I also wasn't a fan of the timelapse intro, it didn't seem to do the rest of your footage justice.

Really well done over all though, I like your style when it comes to grading.

One more thing, you seemed to draw out a few of the shots longer than nessecary, for example the shot at 00:49, you could have cut right when the skater left the frame, but waited for that next downbeat. Just creates a slightly laggy feel when you're really looking.
