Ok, I know that the tricks are really bad. I would not even call them tricks. We put together this small jump in about 10 minutes. This is filmed on a shitty camera with no tripod. Ignore the un-entertaining skiers and focus on the camera shots and editing. ONLY critique the visual side. Thanks! -Tom

Sometimes the hardest thing for me is being patient when it comes to editing. Sometimes you just have to keep logging footy for a long time, and even though you are itching to edit it, you just have to leave it and wait. I have no idea how you made that video 5 minutes long haha.

It looked like you just stood to the side of the jump and pointed the camera and said go. Plan before you shoot; think about how it will look to the viewer. I also wouldn't call that camera "shitty", the footage looked quite crisp for (what I am assuming is) a consumer camcorder.

Thanks, ya I definetly need to plan out how it will look before. Thanks for the advice! The camera is not horrible, just compared to my T3i it is a little different. What do you think of the colors?

Don't try and make it have an "epic" vibe by filming the skiers walking down the road.

Edit needed to be more concise and to the point. The video didn't need to be over 1:30. Really this was just the same trick the entire video just at different angles which got really boring fast. Even though there were multiple angle you don't need to use them all. Your video needs to show your point without losing interest of the viewer. I know you said that the tricks were terrible and aren't even really tricks then that means you will probably lose your audience faster which means you need to be more concise and make the video shorter so people stay tuned in the whole video. Personally I disliked the song and I didn't like the flow but that might just be me. Aslo you don't want to add shots for the sake of adding shots you only want to add shots that you think are going to add to the value of your video. I know I am kinda guilty of this too but can I ask why the need to have a production company? I hope this critique helps you with your future work.

Also I lost it hard at the chad's comment ahahahaha
