Critique my Reel

Hey guys, Here's my reel for 2015! Feedback would be very much appreciated!

Hey I do really like the editing style thanks for sharing. The skiing was sick too, keep doing it!

I really liked it except for the two panning up shots in the beginning, felt repetative, you could reverse one of them so it doesnt feel like the same shot in a different location, but it just kinda lost my interest.

rest of the reel was dope tho, you have some great stuff. Keep working that unreal fresh editing.

it was pretty good just dont use slow motion if you shoot 30fps because it will look like bit laggy

Good. I thought there were just a few static longboarding shots that didn't really need to be in there. Moving shots make it a lot more exciting. And I feel like I like when reels have quick shots that move quickly, so you're not looking at one thing for more than 3 seconds. Makes it very exciting.

Also I really noticed this on the longboarding shots, and it's more of a style thing but try to keep focus on the rider/object in motion in the foreground through the whole shot instead of the background. If you are going to swap focus from background to whatever is moving do it quickly at the beginning of the shot.

That's just my opinion though.

I think the same as most people. Also it does't need to be almost 4 minutes. Good Reels are 1:30-2 minutes max
