Hey guys! I got the chance to film with Noah Wallace a few weeks back and this is what we came up with. I know the glidecam shots aren't 100% perfect, but I would love to know what you guys think about the whole thing!

Thanks guys,

That was awesome man!

The song really complimented the skiing well, and the vibe was sick! Skiing was really good. shots came together nicely. Exposure and color was really good. Finally someone who knows how to use filmburn correctly. Only thing i would add is some sound of the skier sliding the rail or hitting the jump, but thats just personal preference.

My favorite edits are the ones that get me stoked to go skiing, and you sir nailed it

Favourite edit of the season. No ifs or buts.

The vibe was what made it: epic skiing+sick song=greatness.

Wow! Thanks guys!

Thanks Bmo. I wish I could have had more sound too actually. Unfortunately, I didn't set the mic level high enough at the start of the day and messed that up haha.

So dope dude. I honestly loved it. Do you have a tripod collar for your 70-200? Some of the long shots seemed a little shaky. Such a sick edit though

That edit was soooo tight! Loved the colors and the angles. My only gripe was that a few lifestyle shots seems out of focus, but that wasn't too big of a deal for me

Thanks man! I wasn't using a collar because I was switching between a glidecam during the day. Would a collar really help that much? I feel like doing any sort of diagonal motion >70mm is going to be pretty hard to keep smooth.

Mike- Thanks! Appreciate it! I noticed that too. I'll work on it next time.

I was waiting for someone to use this song and I was hoping who ever used it did it justice. You sir did it more than justice. It's spring and I can't move much from surgery but after that all I want to do is go ski

I showed this to people who don't even ski and they thought it was awesome. To the poster further up what do you mean by correctly using filmburn? what is incorrectly using it? and you don't happen to know what brand that hoodie is anyone?

At 70mm, a collar probably wouldnt make a world of difference, but it would defiantly help. Especially at 100+mm focal length.

I've legit watched this edit 10 times since yesterday. Best edit I've seen since Nick Goeppers edit Another day in Paradise. Yeah, it's up there on my top 10 list. Nothing to critique.

Nick- Thanks Man! Appreciate it!

Magnus- The hoodie he was wearing is by Huroic. Facebook page-

J Gasper- Alright. Next time I'll be sure to configure the tripod mounting plate far enough back that it wouldn't get in the way of the collar. (though it looks extremely funny, hah)

pns_jibber- Huge thanks!

So, so so sick! It has to be one of my favorite edits of this year. By the way, I actually bookmarked that kendama movie in your sig last friday haha

my 70-200 and yes I do, not sure why he didn't use it

matt, the 70-200 weighs more then a t3i body, it just helps keep the center of gravity even

and to the person asking about film burn: if you are filming on a digital camera, never use film burn, film burn only is done right if it is actual film burn imo (plus it is way over used)

Like I said, the way that the quick release for the tripod/glidecam is usually set up was sticking out too far from the body being in the way of the collar. In case you were wondering too, I was always supporting the lens when I was moving it around.
