yo!

hoping someone had some time to scope out my latest edit. I really need help color correcting and dont know where to start... shot with a lumix gh1 (micro 4/3) 720p 60fps. i definitely like a lot of the color though.. like the blues.. and a lens filter was on the nikon 50mm. the other lens was a panasonic 14-42.

so yeah lemme know what the fucks up!

first of all, get rid of the vignette, edge softness, and logo. really takes away from the edit. You also seem to have a purplish tint to some of the shots, not hard to fix. But first just concentrate on getting your whites mids and blacks on point. I realize that from your footage it was not optimal weather for filming but your blacks were a little crushed. Also, for my liking, you had way to many fades, it was hard to watch.

not bad man, keep it up!

wordup i totally feel that

I think in the future id keep the logo but tone it down, it is a promotional video for the company, not supposed to be showing off rad tricks, but more about that hat.

thanks for the post homie, gotta find some color correction tutorials soon

Not usually picky with all the color correction and editing, but the fades were a little annoying, and it was too dark for me. (I know the weather was bad so you couldn't help that) Anyways I got a really chill vibe from watching that video and the music and footage was sick. I enjoyed it a lot.

damn that was intense. over edited for me, but i'm guessing you just blazed down and edited and had a good time doing it, which is dope!

haha yeah man i did an all nighter rippn bowls n sippin caffeine.

definitely gonna take out the vig, work on color correction, remove SOME logos and fades, and give it another export.

thanks for the words homies
