Critique My Edit (not like you've ever seen a thread like that before)

Hello there good citizens. It had been quite a while since i had filmed and edited and compiled it into something you all call a respective edit and last sunday my shin bang was so bad that i could barely hit uneven snow without my shins exploding in my boots so i picked up a camera and created this.

From my last edit i was told to stay away from cliche effects and vary up the features a bit so i tried to do that and also focused this time with color coding and just letting the editing and shots flow to the music. Let me know what you think!

I think it looks sick. I like how you've played with the colors, it gave it an original touch. And you had some nice angles and shots. I'm by no mean an expert but I really like it
 
ok a few thoughts

1. i liked the colors, but i thought the vignette was a little too intense, at points the skier was getting blurred in with the vig and i didnt like that, just chill it out a bit and it would look really sick

2. filming was solid for the most part, especially most of the shots on the big jump, some of the rail shots were sketch, and a few jumps too, but i really enjoyed the angle you got on the jump

3. the music fit with the videos feel, but work on cutting tricks and shots to the beat a little more, there were a few instances that worked really well (i.e. the cloud timelapse), but work on cutting the skiers landing to the beat a little better, that wouldve made it a much stronger video in my opinion

overall i enjoyed it despite coming off like a dick giving critiques, good work
 
I liked it alot. the grayish colors fit the music haha. the only thing that i think may improve the vid is if you corresponded some of the landings and such to the hard hitting parts of the song
 
yo that was dope. loved it. the song was dirtyyy. thought that at some points it didnt fit too well and kinda a distraction but for the most part it did. colors were sick. props
 
Liked it, Really loved what you did with the colors, but as said above I didn't enjoy the song. Just didn't fit the riding style very well. 8/10
 
if the kids were ghetto as fuck and afterbanged the shit out of everything including gettin off the lift then ya it would work.
 
Sick edit.

Couple things:

1. Kinda repetitive with the Edge effect. A couple times is good, but not every shot.

2. Music didn't flow with the Riding.

3. Don't just get the feet of the skiers in the shot. That's what skateboarding edits are for. In skiing try to get the whole person when possible.

Other than that, Great job!
