Critique ma edit

Just got a d90....terrible quality but it still shoots decent video. edit is of my friend roller skiing.....feedback and comments would be nice

 
well....not sure where to start..stabilize the camera, dont make an edit of such a gay sport, time the cuts to the music, although it was a horrible song
 
i fully expected a fruit boot edit when i read that, which i like, but did not expect that.-my suggestions would be film something other than that, i don't exactly know what that is but i know people use them to train for cross country skiing. not entirely too entertaining to watch

-stabilization. im sure you don't have the money or patience at your age to learn to use a glidecam.. or for that matter a tripod

-song choice as well. horrible.
 
Allright yea im working on getting a glide cam...prob might make one. But to be honest the d90 sucks for stabilization. pretty much why canon owns nikon in video on their cameras. i guess when i asked for a critique i didnt really specify what i was looking for. mainly is was on the lines of how the shots were put together whether i could improve on connecting the rhythm of the skier to the song. Wasn't really looking for people to tell me that cross country skiing is gay. and yeaa that song is pretty dumb
 
I pretty much agree with what everyone has already said. But I need to emphasize stabilization is key you need good stabilization no matter wether or not it is 480p or 1080p.
