Crip Walk / C-Walk

For those of you that can step dance. How exactly do you do this?? I've been looking this up and can't seem to get a definite answer. Some of the videos i watch, the dudes are doing different motions. Whats the deal?

I'm pretty sure this isn't going to get a huge response, but though I'd throw it out there.

Theres a bunch of different variations, The crip walk has become more of a type of walk rather then a single walk and you'll see tons of variations. dude, its all variations on toe-heel. thats the basis of crip walking. it really can be anything as long as its toe heel and switches feet, and you bounce.

So Im going to show my ignorance, but do crips actually walk like that?? I cant say Id be too intimidated seeing someone dance down the street towards me...

Umm hard to explain... theres a little history behind it. Obviously they don't walk everywhere like that haha. It was mostly used for special crip rituals and even as a signal during crimes. But today its viewed mostly as a dance. Popular in clubs and stuff. Take a look

it used to be one dance, but now that there are so many variations its more of a freestyle. you come up with your own styles.

i use to crip walk but after a while i started to step it up a level, crip walk in ski boots. I have yet to master it but soon i will have it down
