Cried during Marley & Me

I went to the theaters to watch Marley & Me today and cried when Marley got sick. It was so sad. I went through a similar situation with my dog Lucky last September, so I couldn't help but think of him when I saw it. It was incredible to see how many people were crying during the movie. Even adults couldn't contain themselves. i was wondering if anyone else saw the movie and also cried?

I cried when I read the book because my Golden had just died exactly like that while I was reading the book. I haven't seen the movie though; is it good?

i kind of wanted to see this, but i cry too easy at movies lol. i cried like a little girl during walle. it was a little ridiculous.

i think i cried during polar express...

ftw

but this girl at school cried at despearux...haha i was wtfing the whole movie cus it's not even sad

well its good to hear that the movie did the book justice because the book is one of my favourites...oddly among the Dexter and other serial killer novels...

ya dude that was probably one of my favorite books and also the saddest... im gonna go watch the movie right now.

does the dog die?
i have never cried during a movie /claim but i have a soft spot for dogs so this movie might do it for me

you cried during marley and me...im just making sure i heard this correctly.

well in that case all i have to say is that you sir cry easily.

that book was a hot commodity this year for schools. I worked in a book warehouse this summer picking orders for schools and just about half of my orders had that book in it. that and that damn twilight book.
maybe i'll give it a look see.

Oh no, I'm going to see it with my gf in 3 hours. She cried TWICE during Ice Age, so this could be bad.

Dude me too

i have no idea why but at the end of click i was struggling haha i didn't want to embarrass myself but something about it with the dad or whatever

im glad someone felt the same way haha im not alone

i dont know if youre joking or not, but i DID actually cry in that episode hahaha

the book was reallyy sad. im waiting to see the movie. and for those of you making fun.. dont act like youve never cried at a movie before in your life... grow up

ha dude i cried at that part too, its so sad when he is struggleing to talk to ben...

and to the kid who said he almost cried when pikachu left ash

in the origonal movie when ash got turned to stone and pikachu cried ha...i pretty much did...wow that was like 5th grade.../embarrassed

I bawled my eyes out watching that movie. I was 13 or so, but nevertheless...

I have a pretty strong tendency to cry during sad movies and books. I cry watching those heartwrenching ASPCA commercials and I cried reading Where the Red Fern Grows. I'm pretty sure I'd cry watching Marley and Me too...

How can people sit through movies about war, or torture, or murder and see hundreds of images of human people being killed or dying and for the most part not get the least bit sad? Now here one dog dies, p.s. the dog probably is an actor dog and got paid mad bones to pretend to die in a movie, but in real life he is straight chillen with a happy home alive and rich... and it makes people feel terrible. I dunno i would rather seen some hot chick get chain-sawed to death rather than watch an animal die from cancer or something... kind of fucked up

I was pretty close, we had two goldens (mom and son) die that way. our dog thunder (the son) was just like marley except he was worse, he got sent to the pound so many times and almost killed some famous guy's dog, we were close to getting sued for that.

he was such a dope dog though I grew up with him and I was sobbing when he died. I can relate to marley...but I don't really cry at movies so I didn't have any tears come out.

phew ha...that part was way well written, and just because of the bond they had for the whole first season and then its like NOOOOOOO!!!!! that can't happen! haha
