i live in the east and im taking a trip to crested butte, i was wondering when the best time to go is. when can i get a lot of fresh powder and tolerable temperatures? please help me out because i have never been skiing anywhere but the east and i want to have the best time possible on my trip with lots of fresh powder (because i have never skied more than a foot of it). thanks for the help.

probably around feburary and early march...best fresh is right now to late january...but its wet around spring as well

Mid February through early March is going to be your best bet. Right now the snow licks balls.
