whats crested butte like ive havnt been there in like 10 years and i dont remember it at all, do they have a good park, any good powder skiing or cliffs

i cant describe the vibe i get when i drive by 6 people and 5 i hit
 
butte w/ cliffs and powder? ur livin in a fantasy land bro. butte has gone way down hill in 10 years. i know they've lost at least 1000 feet of vertical and they have to make snow. try loveland or silverton. butte sucks

i actually like crested butte... its got a little park, and some ok terrain, and its never crowded and doesnt get a lot of tourists

Damn, people don't enjoy Crested Butte?

Don't go there expecting to ski park, not worth it. Last season they only had a handful of tables and a decent pipe.

Luckily, that's not why you should head there. Crested Butte has some of the best steeps/ trees/ drops/ etc. to be found. You just HAVE to hit it on a powder day, otherwise it's simply trecherous.

I've had the best days of my life at the Butte. No crowds ever, and amazingly good with fresh snow. Just keep your fingers crossed

^As I mentiond, don't go there to ski park. Waste of time.

Last season there was one 20 foot table, one rail and the halfpipe. There was another park, but with ridiculously small hits, like 5 footers,a couple short rails and a decent C box.

Go there for the big mountain! forget the park at CB

If you are coming to CB for riding park then you might as well not come. Steeps, trees, cliff hucks.....thats where it's at. Fredo's, Headwall, Phenix/Spellbound.....that's where you wanna be inbounds. As for backcountry.....it's goin' off from now through may. Irwin, Paradise Divide, the Anthracites....get a sled or some AT bindings and you're set.

I always loved Crested Butte whenever I was there there was great powder, and its so pretty!
