How's CB right now? supposed to go there for a few days in 2-3 weeks. they dont seem like they have much snow, but will it be any better by break?

Was down there over thanksgiving, and the resort was so shitty. The park was ok though. Skied some amazing backcountry up by Paradaise Divide with really good coverage. Theres a big storm going through right now that should improve the conditions at the resort alot, but make the BC avy danger quite terrifying.

Been getting blasted by this latest storm. Easily over a foot+ since it started sunday evening. Still dumpin like mad right now. Anything park, whether it be painter boy or canaan is still at least a week or so away...by next weekend we should really have stuff cookin.

yea I used to work at breck. I wanted a change of scenery for this season, away from the summit egoville. Moved to CB about 3 weeks ago, I an the new and only skier on the park crew.

its pretty small... imagine the dc thing the size of a dance floor and thats about right... i tried to huck my self spinning as fast as i could over it and almost got 7.

canaan is sick right now

park crew has been doing a good job, i thought the lips were good-pretty floaty, but not too poppy and the landings are steep and long(er). also bigger than i thought they would have up to begin with, but hey...bigger is better right?

now we just need some snow

Loving the park so far, pretty epic and super floaty...i cant seem to find the sweet spot on the big jump though but im sure its just me. Cant wait to see the rest of the rails up!

bigger is always better! Yea, definitely itchin to get more of the rails in. IMO, lower canaan is a clusterfuck designed by helen keller.....hopefully see about changing that up so the C box is actually uh, useful and doesnt land you at a dead stop........ugh.

ya that c box massacres you...especially if you fall off early from going to fast... the jumps are really nice! i fucked myself casing a backflip though haha
