Crested Butte

So my dad just moved out to crested butte to be head alpine director due to CBA going out. So he told me the other day that they were making a bunch of new rails and that they're trying to get a really good park this year. I know that the big mountain stuff up there is off the chain, but i am mainly a park skier and want to excel in that. So, does any one have news of what the park is going to be like this year? I will hopefully be out there over Christmas and spring break.

Also, any one want to ride during those times? I would like to have a local show me around seeing as I will most likely be moving there next year.

Though the park is fun too, you should expand your horizons and ski the mountain there. You'll realize how amazing natural shit is... CB could change your views on skiing.
 
I dont know exactly what we are getting, but yes there will be a bunch of new features. But, if it snows, there is no way you will want to ski the park at all, like the guy above said, CB will change your view of skiing.
 
cb is such a sick resort

and this is funny my friends dad bought CBA and moved it to slc and changed it to mountain sport academy

but im pretty sure ill be at cb over christmas and possibly over spring break

to bad my friend moved away bc he had the most bad ass house in skyland and the best hookups in town
 
Anybody interested in riding possibly? I will hopefully be out there from like the 18th till the 2nd or 3rd.

crested butte is definatley one of my favorite mountains ever!!!

such a chill environment. not a big crazy ski town like aspen. real laid back, everyones real nice and friendly, some of the gnarliest big mt skiiers ever...

but yea id love ski wit a fellow NS'er.

and thatd be sick if CB got some new park features. thier rail garden could use a breath of fresh air. its been the same for like 5 years. the best hit they have is 1 s rail
