Me and the lady friend are heading back to Summit for SB to meet up with some old friends, but are looking to take two days and go check out CB as a possible relocation after graduation. Where's the cheapest/easiest option for a hotel/motel in CB/Gunni area. It'll just be us two and my dog.

there is a hostel in CB that is really cheap, walking distance from bars and right next to the bus stop to take you from town to the mountain and the best hangover breakfast place ever (Powder Mag said so).gunnison has some cheap hotels too best western, super 8, etc.

if ur feeling baller u should stay at the grand lodge, elevations, or mountaineer square, thats where all the spring break bitches will be staying at, but those are pricey if u dont split them between like 5 ppl.

 
I've stayed in the Old Town Inn in town before and remember it being pretty reasonable when split a few ways. I like the hostel and it is really nice, but as hostels go its not very cheap (35$ per bunk). One thing to keep in mind about the hostel is that it is SUPER popular and I think it usually books out way in advance during busy periods. Although its less convenient staying in gunni the first night may be a little cheaper, plus most of those places offer discount lift tickets. Also, not sure if they are still available, but those 2 for one lift tickets they sell for buying gas or beer are a good deal.
