Fuck. When my mom lived in England she was in a creepy house living with her grandparents and according to her she woke up to a fucking face with red eyes inches from her face.
 
I worked for a hotel that had a troubled past. Apparently there was a stripper that killed herself in the basement, another that hung herself in a closet, and apparently back in the 1800's(or so) it had an opium den in the basement. The craziest stuff I have ever experienced happened there. I heard knocking coming from a door where there only one access opened it there was no one in there. I think it may have come from the night club that was attached. The weirdest though was the time My cell phone called the front desk of the hotel(before there was voice dial) I answered the phone and my voice was on speaker phone in my pocket. I immediately hung up. Tripped me the fuck out. There was also a customer I was talking to at the time and he had the most creeped out look on his face and said he had to go and left the hotel.

Aside from that I just always had the creepiest feeling every time I went into the basement, even before I was told someone hung themselves down there. Aside from that it was your average scuzzy hotel with a nightclub and strip club attached.
