Could be done with a switch-up or 360 switch too...like frontside switch-up pretzel to frontside 270.
Various common combos:
- switch-up to 270 out, also called "all 8" (front swap-blind2, front swap-front2, blind swap-front2, blind swap-blind2, done both right and left foot forward)
- double switch-up (front swap-blind swap, blind swap-front swap), also add spins out
- 270 on (also add swaps, spins-out or above combos after spin on)
- 360-swap (again, added swaps/spins/combos)
- surface tricks (same stuff as above, but don't jump, just slide it over)
- taps (tap your tip or tail on the top or side of the rail/box getting on/off or even in the middle of a swap)
- 50-50s (straight slide, either 2 feet on or just 1)
- Andy Parry stuff...can't really explain them, just watch Traveling Circus or Andy's Wizard Grinds on youtube
There are TONS of others, the key is to try mixing different tricks/combos and linking them together in creative ways or doing them at different times on the rail (for example doing a swap on the kink of a down-flat rail, or swapping early on the rail then holding position for the rest of the rail then spinning out). I'd recommend getting used the basics (sliding, swaps, 270s on, frontside/blindside 270/450/630 off, ect.) and being able to do them both ways REALLY helps (right foot forward and left foot forward). Once you have the basics, start linking them together, then it's just a matter of cleaning them up.
*note, I interchange switch-up and swap depending on my mood/what I'm used to saying...they're both the same*
