I cant remember if i saw this or not, but has anyone ever mounted a go pro to their actual skis top sheet?I have a few 3m sticky mounts and am looking for creative mounting places.

ya. Even if you could only do waist up, i think it would be cool to see, and slightly less awkward that the pole for self filming. Now i just have to get a gopro and try it

Just cuz it can... doesnt mean u have to put it in the most awkward spot.

its all about showing what you are doing, or your pov. get into the crazy angles when u wanna show something special, like your facial expression when you stomp or ur skis when you ski when you ski cool things.
but the classic helmet mount is great.
pole mount for filming.

and really, the people who get amazing crazy mounts... then go ski a groomer. like thats cool n all, btu lame as fuck.

ill do the over head mount for skiing in the trees, or the ski mount when i hit a jump line and get a cool angle. its all about matching the mount for the type of filming and what u wanna show.

I'm concerned with the ski mount in that a hard hit or extreme flex in the ski could pop the whole mount right off. You'd probably want to tether to the binding or something just in case. I think that's what I'm going to do if I try it.

i bought the suction cup mount and just suctioned it to my top sheets. worked great. plus you can get all kinds of sweet angles etc
