If anyone can draw a mock-up of a design I want, I will give you a free pair of brand new Electric goggles. If you don't want goggles, I can give you a t-shirt. Or a beanie. Maybe gloves. Or something like that.

What I want is the word "SWITCH" in scratchiti style letters, with the "I" being a switchblade. Probably one color, but the switchblade can have shading or different colors in it if necessary.

Very simple design, and if anyone is willing to give it a shot, I will even give some gear out to anyone who takes a halfway decent shot at it by Wednesday (March 7th) afternoon.

haha, deal. Scratchiti is the graffiti that you see on subways and at bus stops that people have literally just scratched their name/tag into the glass. Just straight lines in a repeated stroke to make a block letter that isn't 100% filled in.

Yea dude that's right on!

For a bonus, what if the background (which is white in this case) were to fade away into the color of the letters (black in this case) as it got farther from the word. As if the letters were the blank space where nothing was printed. Does that make sense?
 
I added that effect to his picture. It looks sick but I an having trouble uploading it, I'll post it when I can.

here it is with the knife darker, ill see what i can do about the background. you basically just want it faded to black around the edges?
 
That's cool too, but I was trying to get at something a little different, which I am horrible at explaining.

For example, you have a black car that has white salt from the roads on it. With your finger, you write "switch" on the car. The letters are then black with a white background, but the white of the background fades to black as it gets farther up the car.

And flying squirrel, the darker knife is sick.
 
Jaymezzy, thats cool too! It could be a little easier to read though, just so you can take it all in with a quick glance.

I realize I've been very unclear and vague and probably frustrating, but it's for some sweet goggles! (or something else if you want, we can negotiate)

Cav, thats sick! Not at all what I was going for for this project, haha, but I will find a use for this one somewhere else!

I think I'm going to go with flying_squirrel's design with the white background and black switchblade. Easy to read and simple to print.

jaymezzy, turtletesticles, cav, and blackiechan, i'll hit you guys up with pm's tomorrow and see if there is something I can hook you up with for taking the time!
