Crazy Photo

I just came across this, thought some of you would appreciate how wicked awesome it is considering it's real:

21944.jpg

You know what that is a picture of? It is actually the exact moment that the jet breaks the sound barrier, we just were looking at it Friday in Physics class.

the sickest part of the photos of things breaking the sound barrier is the fact that a human took them. very hard to snap a shot of something at that speed, i think there are only about 20 photographers in the world who can take these pics.

actauly any camera can it is the photographer that needs the skill. speed of light is liek 5000 time the speed of sound.

which is why i was talking about the photographer, not the camera...i didn't once say camera in my post...

right, but you said two or three tries. how often do you think a jet is going to make a pass just so you can take a decent photo? it takes skill.

sonic boom!!

how did this thread turn into an argument...ridiculous.

That's a badass photo though.

your just an asshole that thinks he knows everything about cameras, I am not disagreeing with you, but your a tool

or you could just set up a remote camera where it shoots every half second or whatever

not a big deal, no photographer involved

haha

wow fail

K-rob threw out a comment that wasn't necessarily right

and our favorite member jumped on it and completely jerked off all over it

I think it was taken through the window of another jet travelling at speed of sound. Then its not that hard to capture that moment, because the cloud follows the jet for at least 1 second ... But all of you that said, that there are just a handfull of photographers who could capture that moment are also right - because which one of us could say "I allready travelled with a supersonic jet some time ago"

I think Allen's right for the most part here. Sure you said 20 photographers can shoot it, but i beg to differ, maybe there have only been 20 photographers in total to capture it. All i am saying is, which a good bit of knowledge from a smart photographer, and a nice body its not that improbable to be able to capture a shot like that, just relax your both right to an extent, yes it takes someone skilled but common its not that improbable

okay i understand that now. i just read the story about how he took it and assumed that not a lot of people would be able to get the shot like he did, and the other sources in that article said that it would be very improbable. i guess they were wrong too, i was really just taking what they said and posting it here.
