You guys were right, ever since the brady Bill expired it has just been pure lunacy on the streets, I should have listened to you guys when I had the chance, now America has offically become a shooting range, I saw a 15 year old kid yesterday riding his tank down the street.

Didn't the brady bill just stop felons from owning guns?

The only reason we really need guns anyways is for shooting delecious animals while hunting, otherwise they are totally unecessary. I guess you can use one to protect your family, but if they stopped selling guns to the criminal, you could just use a bat.

 
No ,felons still arn't allowed to own guns. It placed restrictions on the importation of certain guns, and large ammo clips. You could still buy all the same shit it just was a limited supply so it was more expensive.

Everyone on this website made the biggest fucking deal about the Bill expiring and the event passed without incident. they acted like a machine gun was more dangerous than a hunting rifle. If someone wants to kill a lot of people they can drive their car through a mall. Yeah a machinegun would be effective aswell but that goes for just about anything, if the intent is there you're not going to stop them.

hmm, a machine gun can open fire on large amounts of people, whereas a car can only go one direction and is easily avoidable.

What militia of US citizens is going to stand up to one of the best armys in the world anyways? Even if we did have the gun power, democracy is susposidily set up to take down the government in more peaceful, yet very difficult ways.

Your enirly right, and It is a very old idea to keep the popultion well armed, but i think that on some level, if you were a polotician, and you knew that there were guns everywhere and everyone was paying atention to what decisions you were makeing, that you would try to make decisions that would piss off the least amount of people.

Well granted a car may be easier to avoid than a bullet, but if you wanna drive a car fullspeed into a crowd of people like at a concert you're gonna kill more people than your 30 round clip could.
