My family sent me some cash from UK this week... you people are nutz. I thought your 20 pound notes were fucking huge, then I looked at your 50's. It's like a damn flag I should be hanging out of my window. Then your fives are like little stick it notes that can easily dissapear in a pile of 20's. You're all crazy, I think you blokes have had a little too much warm beer.

You know what currency I like? Aside from Canadian of course, the Japanese yen. It was really easy to understand, and similar sizes to Canadian coins and bills.

NZ has the best stuff.

5c is the smallest, then 10c is bigger, 20c is bigger than that, 50c is the biggest.

$1 coin is about the size of a 10c piece, but its gold coloured, and the $2 coin is bout the size of a 20c piece, but gold.

Our notes change a small amount in size, $5 the smallest note, $100 the biggest.

yeah, aussie notes are plastic as well. i always used to ruin my money when i went surfing but not anymore

Not at the moment they don't.

I didn't experience any of that, I was too poor so all I had was coins. And their coins aren't round, they're dodecagons.

the aussies are genius. plastic money. i mean who the hell decided to make paper money? the worst is all our coins.

It is better that the money is different size and colour cos then you can easily identify the diferent notes. The size problem is easy - we have bigger wallets.

but plastic money sounds like a great idea.
