Just saw it tonight and damn it is a great movie. It follows the lifes of 8 or so people and it deals with racism of all types. If you havent seen it, I really reccomend you do.

I was thinking about seeing it but it didn't seem to interest me that much. Just seemed like another film that is just another flop.

crazy...I watched crash last night and it was such a great movie and really got me thinking about a lot of stuff...

im not a big movie person, but if you haven't seen it, i defintely recommend it

watched it last night. the entire drive home afterwards, i was in awe, almost numb, thinking about issues and events in that movie. it was definitely super powerful.

ludacris is a suprisingly good actor. and yeah there is another movie titled crash. its way older, and it is a soft core porn about people who like to get into car accidents and sleep with eachother. also worth seeing. alone...

Yeah i was really supprised to see how good luda was as an actor and maybe i'll go rent that older version of crash.

Shaggy^... the movie made me think about racism more than i usually do.. I am generally not preocupied with it... being that most people in Utah are white, you don't see a lot of racism in action.

I am not "sheltered by family" by any means. You are mistaking me with the 14 year olds on this site.

i wanted to see this movie in theaters, but i didnt, which i regret, so i bought it today, and wow.

this movie is sooo good, sooo deep and gripping and intense, but very provoking. best movie in such a long time.

the cast was amazing (including ludacris. i didnt even realize it was him untill i saw the cover after i watched it) and i havent felt that bad about people in a movie like that ever, shit, sooooo good

 
i thought it was dumb, there was no point to it

I just saw this movie tonight after wanting to see it for a while. It really made me think about life, just like i felt after watching American History X. I recommend this to everyone out there, and hopefully it will have an impact on you.
 
It really made me not proud to be american, now dont think I hate the States but it was just like, "this is where I live?" this sucks
 
Yeah, i just saw it the other day and its reall really good. It does a good job of showing how ignorant people can be. It also shows how those ignorant assholes aren't really bad people. go watch it.
 
Prejudice isn't just a problem in the States. Every culture has individuals that look down upon those that are different.

Anyway, the film was good and it makes a good point. And the people you think will be the "good guy" end up the same as everyone else.
 
American History X- far more impacting regarding the subject of racism, a must see if you liked crash

nevertheless, Crash def exemplified the necessity of avoiding racial clashes...for the ignorant individual crash def speaks to you, to the educated, american history x is far more realistic and impacting

What the fuck are you talking about??? Are you really calling people dumb for having a particular taste in movies. Your an idiot. You dont know anything about these people so dont act like you're better than them and that you, and only you can decide whether a movie is good or not.
 
Crash is a good film. Ludacris gives an excellent performance. Crash, the older movie is a movie by David Cronenberg, the surreal horror meister, where people get off having sex while crashing cars. Some of the scenes in the film make me hurt, especially my knees, ouch.

I just saw this movie tonight at my girl's house, I was just about to make a thread about it too. I thought it was a very good movie, everyone should see it, I didn't enjoy it as much as american history x though, but that is a tough movie to live up to really.
 
the entire audience gasped when the lil' girl...you know (i dnt wanna give it away if you havent seen it) ..so GOOD!
 
finally saw it last night and was pretty disappointed. i agree with phrosty. it was like watching a bunch of public service anouncements that came together. i don't see how it was at all profound, showed some blatant racism and people got pissed. all the characters were morons. meh i dunno, if you liked it that's cool but it definitely didn't live up to the hype for me.
 
this is pretty much the only movie ive seen in like the last 2 years that didnt make me feel like i wasted my money
