seems like it,so im selling my bike and this guy emails me asking if its still for sale.so im like yeah and then he sends me this..
Hi,
In about a week you will get payment.Firstly i would have love to come and see it in person but due to my job. I will be paying by money order or a check so give me your full name and address to make them payable to as i do not want to lose this sale to someone else. If you will keep it in my favor, i dont mind adding twenty dollar for the delay. Pick-up wont be a problem as i already have an arrangement for that.

i emailed him back saying i only take cash and suggesting he sends his arrangement a check which could be cashed.
obviously im not gonna tell him where i live or anything cause ya know, if he were to break in i have no idea who the fuck this is.and im not gonna accept his check either.

such a scam. i always try to toy around scammers, but since they're desperately trying every avenue, further dialogue is, sadly, limited.

when ever i try to sell shit on craigslist i get these. just tell him you will give sell it to him if he meets u in person and pays cash and if he doesnt email you back it was def a scam

no pleaseeeeeee fuck with him!!!

i read something just like this with a mac computer

so the kid ended up sending this guy a binder that he drew keys on and everything, it was hysterical, and he had like 20 people helping him out, someone even camped out at the place he sent it (a internet cafe) so see what went down

Ya but they spent $200 and countless hours of their lives messing with someone who had the IQ of a turtle. That's like making fun of retarded people, get a life I say and just ignore the guy.

hahaha i remember that. the binder with old shitty keys glued on is the funniest thing ive ever seen

I feel really bad for anyone who is a recent immigrant to the states and types very poorly in English. Like they get on craigslist and find all these awesome deals and get so excited and start emailing people but no one will ever email them back because they think their scammers. And the immigrant is just sitting there say "Why no one sell me bikes?"

it's a scam. somebody tried to do this to me 2 weeks ago, very similar e-mail...wouldn't come pick it up in person, same thing.
Ignore him or tell him there's no deal. It is absolutely a scam.

seriously. maybe if they don't want people to laugh at them, they shouldn't act so retarded.
