alright here to clear it up:
DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT! buy salomon bindings unless they are sth 16s (yes they are different and way higher quality than 12s/14s) or pre z-series such as the s916, etc. they have more metal and are bomber as fuck. that is if you plan to ride your skis like anything but a pussy.
maker bindings are mehh. i have jesters, i like them and haven't had problems with them. great. but, my brother (special_k10101) who posted above broke his afd (the slidy piece on the toe) and had to get them warrantied. but since evo (our local shop) is filled with homies they swapped him straight across for a brand new pair of sh 16s. so, marker i'd say maybe.
fks/pivots are solid, realistically you're not going to have trouble with them.
px12s are pretty solid too, those things are heavy and bomber too, you're most likely not going to break them.
shoot, now i feel like i'm missing some key bindings... oh, you can't go wrong with head/tyrolia, those are solid too. good luck, hope that post/rant helped!
