don't worry about it. If you feel it really needs to be fixed go to a ski shop

how do they fix that? it doesnt matter, but edge tuners might get hung up on it. if your cracking edges though, you probably dont use a edge stone anyway

uh, no, it definatly wont get cauht in a sharpener, becausue andy good shop used wet sanding belt sanders. and if you felt the need you could squeeze a little epoxy in there, but it wont do muvh.

The shop will probably do an edge inlay. That is where you cut out the edge in a spot, cut out the base material around that area, screw the new edge into the core, fill it with epoxy flatten the base and edge. Depending as to how bad it is it will probably cost $20 on top of whatever tune you get with it.
