Cracked edges

My salomon 1080s have been ridden for 1 month not pretty hard on rails, and i have 2 small cracks in my back ski back edge, and i can see some more forming, is there anything i can do (other than not hit rails) and will it get bad, or should i not worry about it?

haha thats funny cuz i have 1080s, and ive skied them hard for 2 full seasons. and i just started using them for yard seshes and such, and so i went to use them at bradford the other day, and actually i found the edge cracked in two spots, and is peeling off, and between the edge and the ski, is filled with shredded wood from the rail i was doing. i just made sure that it never touched a rail, and it skied fine. put a little epoxy in and clamped it and it should work for jibbing and such

as far as ur prob goes, that sucks cuz uve used ur skis once, to my 100 times

Its just a matter of time before the edge pulls out from the base, especially if you overweight one foot or the other when you ride rails or you drag or push your edges at big angles on the rails...

i don't get how you guys get so worked up about it. If you're gonna hit rails.. it WILL happen. It happens to all skis.

Don't worry until they look like this.

And thats only on rails... no urbans, only park. and they aren't even completely trashed. i still used them a lot more.
