Late team update.. infact i talked to him yesterday and said he is moving on from solomon he has made enough money and wants to be a Soul Skier, He dont give a fuck about greens he just wants to shralp. Look for the updte on the site, for some reason its somewhat hidden but maybe because he hasnt signed the contract yet...
 
He will still make mad cash fomr armada they would cut him in on profits and give him a share of the company.. Spyder would pay him mad bling too.. if thats true Armada now has the best team ever..
 
^Do you guys really think that CR is one of the best? I think that (nowadays) there are like 20 skiers better than him...
 
yeah, but that has nothing to do with his skiing. He's probably a great person (I don't know him personally) but he seems like a stand up guy, and I'm really sorry for what happened to him, I wish that to no one, but I think that there are lots of better skiers than him nowadays. That's all

Well, thats why I listed 25. Depends on what you consider well known. Believe it or not CR is fairly unknown, just like every other skier except T hall, Shane and Plake.
 
id say at least 40 better. his stuff in the show and prove trailer sucked. Id say that segment was the worst in any trailer this year.
 
Show some respect, i would say his seg is going to be sick considering he was in a coma most of the year. 40 better? CR is a legend in this sport, considering how much he has been through and how much he still kicks ass, you should shut the fuck up

CR goes/has gone bigger than most of the big names.

also had that really big mute 3 of a pretty large cliff last year.

Are you serious? Mosley from TV. Sage from commercials. those are two of the easiest to recognize.
 
who care if he is the best. he is still an amazing skier and from what i can tell wouldnt have joined armada if he was worried about trying to be the best
 
it seems that when ever an athleate gets a pro model with salamon, they then leave and go to another company. saying this, dumont should be expecting a new ski sponsor in about 1-2 years

are you serious! c'mon now...just because he's throwin 3's off cliff's and cornice's and not a perfectly groomed table doesn't mean his shit "sucks". You have no idea how hard that shit is so don't rip on something you know nothing about. CR is sick period and is a huge part of why freeskiing has become what it is today. BLESS
 
I don't really like the guy too much, but keep in mind he was in a coma for most of last year, so his segment may not be up to snuff. Regardless of that, he is still a good pipe skier, but more than that, a hell of a good backcountry skier and getting way better at big mountain stuff. I'd probably put him right behind Abma and Pollard when it comes to park skiers moving to big mountain stuff.

i know people wont like this, but just because he had a life threatening injury doesn't make him some amazing skier or ski god. im sure he is a great guy and i know he is a great skier, and it is great that he overcame the injury, but that doesn't mean that nonw he is a better skier or should be ranked above those that can out ski him.
 
CR johnson is sick, he is one of my favorite skiers for what he overcame and how he throws down so hard. Hes a true baller and has got mad skills. But I have to say that there are kids that are barely known at PC and even Brighton that are infact betters skiers that him. Jossi Wells for one. And many others.

I doubt that! Maybe in the park, but C.R. is one of the few who skis true big mountain lines and throws tricks in them.

I will guarantee that there are no unknown riders in PC or Brighton that are better all around skiers than CR. Maybe solely at park, but CR, Abma, Tanner, and Sage are true well rounded skiers. Jossi Wells could never hang in the BC with these guys.
 
holy fuck i cant believe the amount of people bashing CR in this thread. No respect at all. Jesus christ. he did back to back 10's at the x games that gagnier won, basically pushed the limits of pipe with thovex, if it wasnt for him decking you can add a x games gold medal, he kills it in the big mountain as well. He's basically pep without alot of the switch shit, and CR still competed up till his injury almost. FUCK NEWCHOOLERS this site is fucking lame now
