CR Labs on rails

I am thinking about hitting my CR's on rails any one been doing rails with there CR's. Do the edges get messed up or are they pretty god for rails?

actually, racing bases are harder than shitty ones. the bases will hold up better than normal. but they are graphite impregmated (you should get some graphite wax to use everyonec in a while). rails may pull the graphite out. but the wax contains graphite, so it wouldnt really be an issue

Yeah that's true- plus Candide does his 810 to rail in X with his s-labs, (not that he's too worried about saving his skis...)

 
Don't hot rails with them, the edged get just as fucked up as on regular Salomons.

The edges break very easily.

Luckily I haven't destroyed mine yet. :)

hahaha... /\ yeah, only difference is the kid who made this post has a slightly different arrangement with Salomon and getting skis than CR does

 
using murphskis logic u could say that since dave crichton uses tms on rails that the edges and bases r good quality. but since we all know thats not true then mabey u shouldnt take that comment into consideration

I wouldn't take them on rails. They are such a sweet ski for everything else. Use a cheap pair of skis for rails. I'm sure you have another one sitting around.
