They are sick. They are the best skiing twins I have ever been on. A little heavy but it makes up for it in performance. The bases are so fast too!!!

SEem like 1080s are a little wider but idk probly wrong?

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

What are the differences between the salomon candide and the cr johnson? I imagine nothing. I can't find anything on the salomon sight, or google.

 
^ yeah it's pretty much nothing. there really isn't a difference between them and 1080's either except they are a little lighter. they are deifnintely a specialized ski so you should probably demo them before you get them and such. getboards says they are both lighter, stronger and better overall performers than the original 1080. so if you don't mind having only 1 size to choose from and paying a bit more, deifintely get them

the crs and the candides are the same ski with diff. graphics. the pro models are 1 mm skinnyer in the waist and 2 mm skinnyer in the tip and tail. they have the race bases which are hella fast.

I'll drive it untill the wheels fall off, then I'll buy new wheels!
 
But i still wouldn't go for Salomons if I were you.

Denser core, stiffer, and less cambered than the 1080. Not as much pop off of jumps BUT a lot more rebound energy out of the tails so it switches edges quicker. Great balance on spins. Very stable at high speed - no chatter. Fastest twintip I've ever ridden. Riders over 150 lbs will most likely get the most out of it.
