I rode my friend's Stab a few weeks ago and really didn't like it - too bouncy, couldn't climb for shit on it and I didn't feel confident going downhill, but then again I'm not used to full suspension.

I've got my eye on these two just now - opinions anyone?

Yeah freeskier - I'm looking for a 'do it all' hardtail with a solid frame that will last me a while - those two seem to fit the bill pretty nicely - the square chainstays on the Kona look totally bomber. I really like the look of Norco's Sasquatch and One25 too, but can't really get ahold of them here in the UK.

 
i had both options and after riding the p2 it just felt more comfortable. ive been riding it for awhile. but on both bikes the front fork marzocchi i think is week sauce. i just ordered the dirt jumper 3 for my p2. the chain comes off on both if you ride hard. i have an mrp mini me guide system. i have seven gears with it but i use just those all the time. plus ive blown the back tire on my p2 twice. im thinking of going to tubeless tires so i dont have that problem. but its a great bike. i love it so much

by the way i made a beach cruiser out of a sting ray 18 inch frame. i just have to paint it put white walls and rear slick on. i welded it and fabricated its sick. someone message me and tell me how to post pics

i will stick with the tubes. it's easier to carry a tube than a tire, cheaper too. i know it's harder to pinch a tire but you never know what would happen on the trial.
