Cow tipping?

How would you feel if something came up, pushed you over and you died, not cool yeah? Yes cows are killed for meat, then i eat them, but for cow tipping you kill a dairy cow, which also could have a baby cow inside its womb, its not cool.

i understand that if you are gonna do it, pick the right cow (not the pregnant on)

But seriously people, do you know how they kill cows in the slaughter houses? They are schocked with 300 volts, or they used a pistol-like-machine and bang it on the head. I would rather be tipped over and die than hit in the head/shocked

So your saying, you would rahter lay in a field for hours on end, in pain before you finally die, after being tipped over by some probabaly very drunk half naked men, than being shocked, with an instant death? Your weird.

Rarely does it kill a cow, and even if the cow is knocked on its back, it can get back up. Don't you think it would be at least a little bit funny to watch someone to and tip a cow?

No, i have lived on a farm half my life, which had cows, cows are cool. And it is very possible for it to kill the cow, their very heavy and have trouble rolling over. Once i saw a cow on its back, they had to get a tractor to pull it over, it was dead.

i have deffanatly seen a cow scratching its back on the ground, then it just rolled over onto its stomach just chillin. I could see it breaking ribs or something but idk, it would suck to kill someones cow though

This is dumb.... not only are you going to not actually get the money and kill the cow, but you're also screwing the farmer/cow-owner.

Seriously bud, do you even read the shit you quote?

This is the second time you've quoted someone and the response you post actually has nothing to do with what was quoted. No, he did not say that the cow was tipped and thus was dead. He was just trying to make the point that perhaps if a cow was pushed over then it might not be able to get back up afterwards - inferred from how difficult it was to get the cow right-side up.

And for the record I said nothing about how cow-tipping kills cows in my post on the previous page. I was making the argument that he probably wouldn't even get the money anyway and thus the whole endeavour would be a waste of time.

seriosley dont do it. two dumb freshman girls in my school were obsessing about it for months and they got their boyfriends to do it one night. the cow turned out fine but the farmer caught them and all four were arrested. true story. i think if your seriose ask yourself if your willing to pay the consequences if your caught. also your friend probably wont pay up if you do because thats how these kind of things are

ill eat a steak. hell, ill go to the butcher shop to pick the cow i want my cut from. i just dont like seeing animals suffer. like when i go deer hunting its that Tom Berenger lne from sniper: "one shot, one kill"... i dont want to see them suffer cause of someone elses stupidity.

i also find it funny how many people on here make threads about being blazed and doing so many drugs and completely screwing with their bodies, but as soon as a cow is tipped, all hell breaks loose

This thread is so dumb....I've lived on a ranch, (owned by my parents) all my life. I have never tipped a cow, because that seems to me like a retarded thing to do.

First off, as stated above, cows don't sleep standing up. Horse do (k-rob knows what's up).

Second, if you find a cow standing up it is most likely dozing. Yes you can tip it over, and yes there is a high likelyhood it will die/have to be put down for the above stated reasons.

Third, cows are chill as fuck. Why would you bum rush one and knock it over?

Fourth, RANCHERS (farmers farm plants and such), are almost never responsible for killing cows. They go to slaughterhouses, not owned by the rancher, to slaughter. This is done by the bolt-gun thing like in No Country for Old Men.

Saying that killing a rancher's cow is OK because it is going to be killed eventually is also a retarded argument. Most beef cow ranches (like the one we own) are cow calf operations. This means we keep all the female cows, and sell the steers. This also means it is highly likely that you would be killing a mother cow, or a bull. Ranchers really do care about there animals, and killing one, even mistakenly would be a pretty unchill thing to do.

Don't do it. Please

Also, ranchers make shit ass money for ranching (unless we're talking about the King Ranch or something), so killing cows cuts into their bottom line.

i think all of you need to chill the hell out. obviously this was a hilarious drunken thread and the man isn't trying to kill any cows. relax.

all of you who looked up cow tipping on wikipedia and tried to look holier-than-thou probably wasted your time.

haha its not like cows tip over to their sides every time they lie down, they lie on their bellies with their legs under them not on their sides with their legs extended. Also when a cow tips over it goes down hard and the fall can lead to death or a serious injury, some of them can get up but allot wont be able to without help and they will just lay there and die from dehydration, injury or something else.

Actually no, sorry, I don't think he does. The fibula is lateral to the tibia... so it's on the side, not in the back and therefore not protected by the calf muscle. It is also an extremely weak bone because it does not really do much where as your tibia supports a lot of weight and is therefore relatively strong. Because fibula is lateral and extremely weak, it stands to reason that it can be broken from the front. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am 100% certain that the fibula is not located posterior to the tibia...

Anyway, back on topic: don't tip cows.

this is true, but it is more posterior than you would think, its not completly protected by the calf muscle but it is protected, the reason why it breaks is what you said before, its very week.

extreme lollll.....
i didnt want to post in this thread, but i had tooo. NO BONE IN YOUR BODY IS "PROTECTED" BY MUSCLE. if you said that where i work you would get laughed at. Im not giving any insight to that first guys story, but either of your leg bones can break from any direction if the force is great.

seriously? how many drugs have you done today? i don't care if someone on NS is doing heroin all god damn day, they do it to themselves and drugs aren't always bad. tipping a cow is never good. nothing good comes out of that situation, and from what I'm hearing lots of bad things happen.

your fucking fibula is not protected by your calf muscle from a cows kick. think about that, seriously. maybe from the back of a ski boot but not a huge animal with a tremendous kick.
