it looks like the course kinda fucked over the ridders at the x-games. the biggest hit was 60ft, most of the riders were having problems with the landings, over all it just looked like a shity course, except for the stairilizer that was sick i wanted to see some one hit the up slant gap the middle stage area and hit the down rail to bad they didn't set it up so you could do it.

i liked it all except for the money booter, which was ridicukously small

i've see the braches thing... alot of it prob had to do with the flat light and shit too, i think that the course was made more for snowboarders this year, or i could be wronge

I think it was designed with the snowboard chicks in mind. Its obvious that they have stunk in the past on the real jumps. This course was def a let down.

 
Definately a let down. The jumps were WAY too small, and limited the riders.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.
 
even if they just had a nice 75ft hit for the money booter that would have made the course ten times better

so true...there is no way a slowboarder could clear that course if the jumps were any bigger...buttermilk is the flattest mole hill in aspen anyways

the part of the hill on buttermilk where the slope course has good enough pitch for the comp. it's ridiculous to make the jumps so small that they have to speed check and are still overshooting the landings by so much.

 
yeah it was deff made for snowboarders maybe they should make it big and if they can't clear it then they should just go home... it seriously looked like it flowed nice for the snowboarders but like someone above me said skiers had to speed check on every hit and still landed low in the trany.

did you also see that the pipe is only like 18ft walls?!? thats super small compaired to WSI and shit isn't it?

^^^^blue paint so they can see the fucking landing, the course wasnt to bad, they wanted to see how the riders could adjust and handle it.

i emailed getboards.com and they told me they had no idea what the oakley skis were- Starky

Yeah, the set up was really weak! I talked with Mercon on Sat. night and he was totally pissed that is was like a mini park. I think the reason must have been that they didn't wan't the skiers to look better and go bigger than the snowboarders. They did anyhow.

warm foam.....I hate that shit....
