1) i am completely shocked that the freeskiing community has the nerve to boo tanner after winning his 3rd pipe medal in a row. honestly if you know anything about the sport of freestyle skiing, you would know that tanners run that night was the best superpipe run in history. and even if a miracle happened and dumont would have thrown a better run,but tanner still got gold, booing was the LOWEST bottom the sport i love has now hit. it makes me sad to see the freeskiing community degrade itself by BOOing the biggest pioneer in freeskiing history. love him or hate him, tanner hall has made the sport what it is today no doubt. imagine being in tanners position just taking gold in the xgames superpipe and getting booed. for me id say fuck the gold medal all i want is even a LITTLE recognition that maybe i made one of my fans stoked that im still rippin shit up. please NS name one person that can rip retallack for weeks on end, make kids jizz thier pants because of pow shots, then take gold. all i can say right now is suck a dick all you thall haters you disgust me.

2) How many comps does Jon plan on winning with the kangflip? he threw it 3 times tonight at big air. he throws it every jump in every other comp too. its cool if thats what you need to win, but some variation would be nice because we all know you can throw down more. even if it means a different grab

3) not huge on dumont but he should have won big air because the kangflip every single jump is getting played as fuck

 
1. It wasn't the freeskiing community booing. It was poeple that just don't know the difference.

2. The jump was small....he even said himself.
 
can't blame jon for throwing the trick that wins the comp - especially on a smaller than the joi jump where he wasn't comfortable enough to throw some of the other doubles. once he felt the win was wrapped up, he hooked us up with a sick flat 5.
 
yeah man how can you diss jon's kangaroo flip the jump is big in technical terms but its a step up and really isn't that big. they were lucky to be able to throw a kangaroo flip on that jump at all
 
if the jump was bigger he would have done a kang then something bigger. It isn't his fault that x-games can't build a jump.
 
im saying if you throw the kang perfectly like jon does in every other comp he enters, dont throw its twice more, change it up

If you were standing next to some clown who was booing, I hope you served him up a hot set of knuckles. That run was incredible, if the only flaw in a run is a missed grab on a 1260 that wasnt hucked... well fuck, i give it a 9.9 outa 10.

That run was so far ahead of its time, its scary. And I think he is going to come back next year. Im kind of scared to think what he'll come up with next. I hope simon takes the advice T gave him and steps the tech up. Think about a super slow 22 foot 9 to start and 6 more hits... ID poop.

I really hope the people who boo'd him, never step in a set of skis ever again. When did people stop cheering for winners?

Lets see some love for the best pipe comp ever huh?
 
haha you think simon's shitty 1080 should have beat jon's steezy kang? fuck that, if it went down to dumont and ganier, ganier would've won with dumonts weak 1080, jacobs kang looked like shit but his 720 was better than dumont's 1080, ganier's octograb was pretty tech, but looked hucked, i think jon deserved the win on that one, plus i wanna see that phantom with the ski rack
 
oh i agree with the booing of t-hall, but dumonts run really did get me amped up, and i was really stoked by the amplitude, he does need some more tech to his runs, but tanners run didn't blow my mind, but dumont's huge airs certainly did
 
i think x-games sucks butt so far

seriously like 4 skiiers tonite on tv and very few in pipe there needs to be more coverage forsure only like half an hour or 45 minutes for skiing totall a night i think its gay along with the no rails in slope
 
i agree for Tanner to get boo'ed after he sets an x-games record with an amazing run its pretty messed up
 
as much as i love to hate tanner, he shouldnt have been boo'd it was just one or two drunkass's that started it then everybody fallowed suit with mob mentality. usually when somebody hates another person... its because they want to be them. and im willing to admit, the reason i hate tanner is cuz id like to be him (talent/skiing wise).
 
naw, simon is the yankees, havin all the money thrown at him... tanner is the red sox, everyone expects him to lose, or wants him to... then latley he wins. ya know?
 
nah dude, nobody likes the yankees because they used to win all of the time, like tanner currently wins, nobody wants him to win, they wanna see dumont the crowd favorite (red sox are the crowd favorite) over take the person who has won lately

Comment #1 was legit but 2 and 3 are just retarded. Theres no way a regular 10 will beat a kang flip in any big air comp this year. And even if dumont would have advanced and was against gagnier he still would have lost to gagniers 12. Mabye you should take a look back at the 2006 makeshift big air. everybody and their mother in law was doing switch tens except for rory bushfield. I would have choked a snitch to see a kang flip then. Not to say a DJ flip wouldn't have been cool but cmon. not to mention Jons flat 5 double grab was pretty much the sickest think done on that jump. If he held that grab any longer he probably would have chopped his fingers off. The kangflip is not played, it will be played when everybody is doing them.

 
everyone else is doing them. wester was throwing them, jon threw 3, im getting sick of seeing them from him. same grab and everything
 
i agree. his big air jump was one of the shittiest jumps i've ever seen in a big comp, seriously.
