Couple mm gap between binding and ski?!?

Right just got my skis mounted up at a local shop and I was having a look after I had got back home etc and I notice that on all there was a very small space between binding and ski. Mostly it was you could just see a sliver of light through.

However, on one toe piece the gap is probably almost 2 to 3mm. I have look px12 bindings and I can "tap" the toe plate (where there are no screws) up and down a bit, if that makes sense. The screwed area is solid on the ski but there is the bit which isn't which can be pushed down etc.

Basically is this ok or should I get the guy to redo the toe binding? Tried screwing it down more but it just doesn't want to go.

if i were you i would bring it back to the shop and have them take a second look at it to make sure they did it all right

thats gonna pull out.

bring it back to the shop n tell them to fix that shit before you ski on them. otherwise, youll be looking at some problems at the mountain for sure.

You think its just the one with the 2mm gap or all?

The others I can only just slide a piece of paper folded twice, under them. But the one toe piece at the lower part of the binding (area under my foot) its a piece folded ten times and at the forward part of the binding two folds

if theres any gap at all, that means that the screws arent all the way into the ski.

have em fix em all, whether that means redrilling or just tightening down with a drill.

Ok fair doos. Also, after when they screw them down they put wood glue in. or at least thats what the guy told me, and he said its best to leave them overnight to dry before riding them. Is this true? It seems to make sense but wasn't so sure.
