wait maybe i looked at something different but i thought i saw on the website that they would start blowing in acouple days
 
Basin might have a good chance opening before Loveland this yr. If not they might open the day after loveland
 
they usually open around the 14/15th but the snowmaking is looking a little lazy at the moment. see for youself:

my guess is that they'll open the next weekend, prob on friday the 20th. i also am guessing that abasin will open the 21st if they don't dick around like last year:

so yea oscar, i'll be up on one of those days if not both... you gonna be riding w/ the jibij crew or what?
 
so that makes the optimistic countdown number 14 days. we should use that and then bitch when we can't go skiing for another week.
