Could I use carpet for a summer shred??

i was woundering if I Could use carpet for a summer shred?? I have a crap load of carpet and its like new, i was thinking if i wet it but dont know??

Please help.
 
for a summer shred, your supposed to do it in the summer

this time of year, i would just use snow
 
it is a little late to be thinking about a summer shred, but it sounds like now youre preparded for next summer
 
im trying to find free shit so i dont have to pay for materials. i havnt been able to finish it last summer but so far i have tons of 2x4`s and a small strip of turf. i think im going to put the turf for the lip and use snowfence for the rest of the drop in. is that going to be too sketchy?
 
The shorter the hairs on the carpet the better. If you're too slow use dish soap. Keep everything wet and you should be good. My rails 20 feet long 1 foot high and my roll in is 6 feet and I have easily enough speed with just some carpet I found in my parents basement.
 
keep your carpet and lay some contruction fencing over it, works like a charm. You may have to double layer it like me. More layers=more slide.
 
you also need to make sure you go with the groove of the carpet ( if that nmakes sense). Run your hand over the top and you'll now what i mean. And yeah you got to soap it up a fuck load.
 
you can use the carpet as something to put snow on if you get some snow from the ice skating rink, it helps the snow stay longer. I have no idea if it will work with soapy water but turf at home depot is hella cheap
