Cost of food at your resort?

I live In Rovaniemi, Finland, the place where all chinese and brittish people think Santa Claus lives. So we have shitloads of tourists and the prices are hella high. You get a doughnut for like 5$ and a shitty burger meal for about 15$

I get crazy hungry, and I get cranky when I ski hungry. I have more fun when I stop for foods.

Sucks sorry to hear

Get a container of riisii puuro and you’re good for the day

Unless you a baller, you a st8 fool for buying resort food.

I say it time and time again the only lunch a man needs is 4 Nuttella waffles stacked together as a sandwich with an apple or two for lunch.

When I was younger I could do this but now I need food. I usually skip breakfast so by lunch I'm starving and If I don't eat I get pissy

Usually go to safeway and get food before, but northstar food is like $17 for a burger and fries which is a rip

Dude is this a meadows wide offer, can take you up on this? I see you keeping the parks fresh all damn season long, someone should be buying you lunch.

even at small resorts in pa the prices are wack. its $15 for a burger and fries so i always keep a sandwich and cereal bars in my pocket. thats usually enough to keep me from getting cranky and slumping mid day.

ofc when im tryna learn something new that shit gets flat as a pancake but food is food

Getting 50% off is the only reason I'll ever buy food at VR. It doesn't make it cheap by any means but it makes things a pretty normal reasonable price.

To be fair, the food is actually pretty good so if you get it half off it's a decent price haha

Yeah the burgers are like $8.75 so that's not bad at all. I actually buy food if I'm riding for the day. The village doesn't have any wild deals, but has some fair prices. Also copper lane for booze is a fucking win.

Yep this is open to anyone, no need to buy me lunch

Man, I would kill to be able to buy some curds on the mountain.

Crested Butte's mid-mountain prices are like $15-$20 for a full meal.

But after 3pm you can get $1 slices at the base, which make up a disgustingly large portion of my weekly diet.

Two years ago they had happy hour cascade fries after three oclock. It was a massive plate with cheese sauce, bacon bits, and green onions, the dank for 5 bones. they got rid of it and I havent bought food there since. I still put in complaints every now and then telling them to bring back cascade fries. Those fries were the absolute best way to end a day skiing

It's like $22 for a burrito at Whistler and $17 for a burger at Whistler...

$6.95 for a 355ml can of Kootenay Lager (cheap cheap lager that is $8.25 a 6-pack at the liquor stores)

It's madness. But I usually ski with pocket snacks and beers anyways. I'm lucky enough to get to ski some of the best terrain in North America (the world?) so it's all good!

It’s really easy to steal food and drinks when’s it’s busy too, perks of living on a smaller hill.

5 bucks for fries, 25 bucks for a burger, 3 bucks for a small brownie

needless to say i bring cup noodles.

Am I the only one that admits to custying up every once and a while for 8 dollar fries? I don't bend over and take it up the ass on a 20 dollar vail burger but I've been known to consent to some fry rapage. Usually I am good grabbing some water and deicing my beard if I need to go inside while ripping but I'm not that broke that I won't buy some fucking fries if I am hungry whats the difference between 4 and 8 bucks?

On my trip to Park City I did enjoy taking a run down to the village lift to get a normal good well priced lunch which made a first chair to last chair day seem short.

Sometimes an $8 bowl of Mac n cheese is about the greatest thing on earth.

Eating something before you get to the checkout is always a power move.

Grab an order of tendies and stuff 2 or 3 in your face while you are filling up a coke and leave the fries that came with the tendies by the coke machine when you go to check out just buy the 3 dollar coke. They are making enough money.

Yeah nah that's just straight up stealing and they'd have to throw away the fries after...

I don't think its stealing you didn't walk past the register with it. Restaurants throw away a lot of food ever been to a buffet? Think of it more as 'exploiting a loophole.'

I don't know where you got this bullshit from? That's not a loophole, it's called intent to deprive and you can be prosecuted for it - you ATE the chicken tender/did something to it without paying for it - if you walk past the point of purchase without paying after eating something it's illegal.

So is driving 60 in a 55.

Take a hike pal.

I'm an employee so I get half off on all prepared food and it's still not worth buying it there bc it's still like $5 for a greasy burger, probably lower in quality than the McD equivalent. I just make myself a sandwich or two and eat them on the lift so I can freeski on my lunch break.
