Corvallis Urban Rails

Does any body know of any good urban rails to hit in or near corvallis?

Also is there an ice rink or other source of snow to hit an urban rail?

I can't wait long enough for this season to start and go to school at OSU. If anyone knows of an ice rink that is close that'd be sick

just know of it. dont have a pickup to haul it in, just a subie wagon and i havent tried that yet.
 
Yeah I called that place it is just a roller rink. Good for a saturday night rollerblade session, but not an urban session. Closest place I have found is in Eugene.

Is there anyone who goes to OSU and has hit an urban rail?

i just google searched corvallis ice rink and thats one of the things that popped up
 
just moved to corvallis myself and have been wondering/looking out for the same thing. if any of you find anything or i do i will post. anyway, Im down to find and do some urban in corvallis if theres anyone else thats interested
 
Hey I just read all the replies and I don't know of anything either. I'm workin on somethin with a friend of mine that will at least keep me occupied and fresh. Its still rough but its more or less a transportable/adjustable rail and box that can be broken down to a small size. As for the snow thing, we are working to try and find somethin kinda like art. turf that skis will slide on. So basically, find a hill, role out the carpet, and adjust the rail to the hill. Its not pretty but its better than nothin at all.
 
I have a drop in box if anyone is interested. I want to do a photo shoot possibly for CIVILBRANDCLOTHING a high fashion company that some buddies of mine and i started at OSU.
 
it is not that cool and i haven't used it yet. just built it but it is about four feet high and about 7 or 8 long with the ramp. It is super narrow and kind of sketchy but i think it will get the job done.
 
yeah they are... thats the one thing i guess that they really want to do again... im not in corvallis but i helped with puttin it on last year and i know all the people who are gonna be puttin it on and i can deff get you into the "comp" also theres this thing called snowwarz where the whole westcoast colleges have teams that rep their school and its put on by redbull so if you want info about any of the two on how to get involved then i can help...
 
^interested in both for sure, there are a couple other good skiers i know at osu that we could put together a team with for sure. if you could pm me the info that would kick ass. thanks bro
