the doc wanted to give me on for tendinitis...i said no thanks i'll deal. i heard the shot hurts worse than the pain you're getting it for. plus you can't get a lot of them they're bad for you

yea well in my circumstance its that or surgery... so i went with the shot, at least until the seasons over, its for soem serious nerve problem

ive had 3 over the past year in my knee, its recommended you dont do activity on them for 3 days to a week (pending the doctor). i tended to agree with them just to prevent further injury

i have to get them in my heel 4 times a year for running and i cant run for 4-5 days after that. i dont know if you will want to do anything after that, the next morning when you wake up sometimes they realy suck, and the day you get them they hurt like hell. my sugestion would be not to do anything for a couple of days at least.

haha our football doc tried to take me out coz i 'sprained my ankle' and had possible head injuries coz i tackled a guy at full speed and knocked my helmet off. fucking bullshit, doctors lie, i played fine the rest of the game

 
yes you can ski after getting a cortisone shot that is what they are for to reduce pain and swelling so that you can be active
