Cortes Couloir; have you skied it?

I'm new here... as you can tell by my karma.

I have one question; if you had the chance would you ski Corbets Couloir at Jackson Hole or have you skied it before?

That trail is freaking terrifying, but I still want to ride it.

If thats how you feel about it I don't know if you should. Just send er in there and make sure to make that right turn bud!

To me it's terrifying to look at, but in my head I'm thinking that would be awesome as fuck to do.

it's easy. one move wonder. jerrys do it on their rental skis. not to discount the run though, iconic and often has really good snow

Shin-bang and I are actually going there the end of this month. Ive been there before but its always so windy up top. If it's not closed and the weather isn't terrible we plan on doing it!

Depends on the time of year. I took two turns and I was down it without leaving the ground. That was towards the end of the year.

a corbetts a day keep the doctor away!

one a pow day its eeeeeeasy. When its boiler plate, it will be a little more interesting. 3 turning the couloir and SENDING the 80s booter is a great time!

Drop skiers right side or pinkys pocket for more fun!

Corbett's isn't the gnarliest thing out there. I would watch out for Cortez's couloir though, if you fall you get small pox.

I heard you could get aids too

I never hit it but doesn't look that bad to just ski it. If you're going to send it in you can get pretty gnarly but depending on the snow, to just make the drop and ski out isn't that crazy.

The only times I've been there though you would have only been able to send it on hockey skates.

Maybe another time

There is some fame gnar factor if you hit it in right conditions. Bucket list item.

Beers on gondola deck on bluebird day squinting across and watching is better.

If only they had a deck and beers up top of corbits to watch the rental carnage unfold.

Went to Jackson with my brother for the first time last spring, all we wanted to do for three days was hit S&S and Corbets, neither one opened while we were there

Bring beers and chill and watch the carnage. Ski patrol will give 0 fucks.

Poach, poach, poach!!!! Patrol wont pull day tickets.

I was there last year but it was shitty snow. Doesnt seem terrible to just hop turn down quickly, itd be sick to send it tho. If I go again I'll definitely go for it
