ok we all know that there alot of names for sliding rails and i am not tlaking bout nose slides and tail slids but jsut a regular slide jump 90 land and slide. snowboarders call it a boardslide i have heard ski slide and the most popul;ar the railslide. so wat is the official correct term?

I call it a slide or railslide. Grind doesn't work for me, that reminds me more of skateboard, BMX, or rollerblading.

no no I understand, I sorta ignored the title of the thread just to make a comment about the fs/bs issue

I don't even say "slide." Just like, "I want to do that rail," or "so-and-so greased that shit," etc. Unless it's like, a lipslide or a press or something.

Speaking of Jib.. I've heard Jib used to define sliding rails, hitting jumps, and stalls on quarter/half pipes.. What is it really?

I don't think "jib" can be hitting jumps. It's like a non-air feature. Rails, boxes, barrels, tires, cars, wallrides, trees...not jumps or pipe.

Jib. To jib is to jump onto/over anything, tap it, press it, slide it, etc. I might say like "I'mma jib that tree stump" but I'd say "Im gonna hit (or slide) that rail"
