i always thought a cork was more less spinning on your back (off-axis) but some people on this site say its inverted. are thye just fucking retarded or do i not know what a cork is?

 
Yeah, its pretty much just an off axis spin thats thrown backwards. Some people say an inverted cork is a Dspin, but this is not true. So yes, a cork CAN go inverted and still be a cork. Just because it goes inverted doenst mean its a Dspin.

 
Maybe I'm wrong but a true d-spin is a cork 3 + another 360 while you're inverted...in that case that would be d-spin 7.

But an inverted cork would be like your head would be below 90 degree but not completely inverted. Thats the way I see it.

ill correct you once and for all if yopu look very very very closely at a slow motion textbook d-spin you will se that its almost like a back full exept you finish the spin too early so from the point when youre inverted youre done spinning and do the rest of a back flip. now, the reason why we cal this a d-7 is because when youre not spinning youre body wants to keep spinning wich make you go corked and look like you spin but not actually

sure a TRUE d-spin isn't an inverted cork, but it's just a back-full with it's own style, kinda like how some people do late corks, they're still corks. but basically an inverted cork gets called a d-spin. when it should just be called inverted. and they all lived happliy ever after the end.

cork can go higher than just being paralell with the ground, you can have your feet above your head but not fully inverted. just call it a cork unless it looks otherwise.
