Cork V. Rodeo

So me and my friend have this debate: Which is harder to learn/get clean, rodeo or cork. What do you think NS

bio is harder than both. but in terms of rode and cork, making them look good is the hard part.

Depends on who you are. I stomped my second rodeo 5, and cork is not natural for me. Friend is the exact opposite.

hmmm. well still tho, rodeo 5 vs cork 5, cork 5 more difficult, but single rodeo like 12, different story

well if you enjoy a nice big cock then i could see a switch cork 7 being simple. but misty 4 out......those are a sinch

Rodeos were harder for me to learn (I just got corks today!!).

When you do a corked spin, most people carve into the jump, and it sets the rotation almost perfectly, and I find that it kinda just comes around right where it should.

For rodeos however, you have to do more work and focus on a few more things that are happening in order to get the rotation around.

Just my two cents though.

Good luck!

Rodeo is harder for sure.

For cork 7 you just carve into the jump, turn into the carve, and the rotation practically completes itself.

Just depends, if you can cork 7 on the trampoline, it really shouldn't be to hard to bring it to snow. If you can't cork on the tramp, then I would bet rodeo would be easier if you have only done a backflip.

I can do both, and rodeos are a) more fun, b) easier to land clean, Corks are way fun too, but rodeos are an easier trick that require less air IMO.

i have kind of looked into this, to some people corks are, some rodeos are. i think it is the way you linkin loop, if it is left (and you spin left) you like cork, but if you flip right it is rodeo, i love corks and can cork 10 but i canot rodeo anything, tramps air bags diving boards. i found right rodeos better for me then left rodeos. i have met people that can rodeo 9 and cant cork 5 or 7, and they linkin loop to the right, so i think it is that and personal preference

Yea, I'd have to agree with that. I learned rodeos pretty easy, but to get a good rodeo 5 with a clean landing is tougher than it looks. It took a while for me to figure out corks, but once I did they were there for the taking. It's all personal preference though.

i think that rodeos are easier. corks get easier with higher rotations.

a cork 5 is harder for me tahn a cork 7. but a rodeo 5 is easier than a rodeo 7

I think rodeos are harder. I cant do one on ski's but corks are easier on tramp. I don't know for sure but I think they are similar.

rodeos are probably the easiest trick to set in skiing. I'd honestly say they're easier then setting a regular 5. Corks are nice because you can see the landing the whole time, but to me rodeo's are much easier to float off big jumps.

for me a rodeo is easier to bring around to my feet but cork is easier on a tramp. i dont know if that really makes sense
