Cork spins

If you don't get any other good advice in this thread then take this: type "cork" into the search bar. Since the same question has been asked several times some people might feel the need to be dicks and just waist bandwidth with their responses.

that whole right hand/left boot thing is so sketch.. including the right hand/left ass comment.

basically you just gotta feel it.. go up to the jump.. instead of just twisting your shoulders.. drop your left one back and get ready for fun.

i was think bout trycoked spins this weekend. i was wondering if you huck the spin any harder than normal?

they are seriously just how you think they are. just throw yourself back and i bet you will get it. carving helps to.

lol sorry dude but 'throwing yourself back' is a really bad explanation.

watch jon olsson do corks, he does them text book..

theres actually like 3 different i've done corks

1st way, the jon way, throw your spin back at your tails and look at them as your going off, this will automatically make you go corked, i dont know why, it just works.

2nd way, the way i do them now, carve hard pop off, drop shoulder and lift knees to chest, this makes you go wicked corked and i just find it the most comfortable.

3rd way, the way i first learned them, be too much of a pussy to go inverted on a misty

i'm just gonna use your thread instead of starting a new one..

When doing the carve hard way to go cork, how do you get back on axis? I've tried a few times, but always landing on my sides (in pow). I guess there's a tecnique you use on this too?

And what rotations are the easiest to do when going cork? would a 360 be harder then lets say a 720?

definitely different ways to throw them. the way i like to do it is go for a mute grab super hard and super early, just let your body follow your arm motion

for me cork 5's and 9's are the easiest, its way easier to land switch after doing corks i find. A lot of the time I will land back seat when doing cork 7 or 10, this is just cause i start the cork to early. thats probably what your experiencing, to correct this in the carve hard technique just loft the cork to the side more, whenever i land backseat it's because i bring the cork to close to my body... i wish i could show you with my arms but the internet is gay for that... basically send it more outwards to get back on axis... ive never really had that problem with corks but im gonna guess thats how you could correct it.

i think ill actually post a video on this in a couple weeks, you'll probably have it by then but for people in the future it will help.
