Cork Ones

flatspinner...yeah it does. In my opinion a corked 180 takes loads more skill than a regular 180 plus it looked so much sicker. So stop posting that.

Actually D-Spin it takes more skill than a corked 5, or 3, I don't think they realize you have no leverage

You can't have rythym if you ain't got no soul

i saw eric hjorleifson do one at COC 2 summers ago over a spine. it was ugly though. snowboarders definately got that over skiers.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

this is the one i was talking about corked 180 but land on face

he fully lands on his face but he rides away and if you look carefully he is starting to drag it back. it looks like if he had overrotated a little like dumont does on that stepup in X he might have brought it back more and maybe kept his face outa the snow. plus that 180 is VERY corked. maybe less corked it could be brought back the whole way?

'this is just like sex, only im having it!'

OK, once again, and I'm sorry to guys that I know are actually good and think that this trick is possible, but it really is not. And putting your head down a little does not count. Unless this is your definition of 'corked,' which it shouldn't be. It is indeed, physically impossible, unless you are going unimaginably big, and you use air resistance to right yourself again. Otherwise you have thrown your center of gravity off, and have no way to right yourself in just 180 degrees. So a true corked 180 is not possible on any sort of realistic jump. Physics my bouyssss.

I'll tell you what I want. I want you to ask the aformentioned snowboarder who executes the 'cork 180' if he in fact did a 'cork 180'. he'll probably say no, and then take a tac-hammer to your face. Wait, I said a word in there....snowboarder...I MIGHT believe you that a snowboarder did a cork 180, but I'll never believe anyone who says a skier did...it'll forever just be a 180

Flatspinner youre argueing about the name of a trick...Im not you moron. The snoboard guy clearly did a cork 180 call it what you want but he was over 90 degrees off axis and on his stomach, and that video posted by astomp was not anywhere close to a cork one

dspin7x, What people are saying is that it is impossible to do one on SKIS. We all know it's possible seeing it is in 'POP' so just settle down buddy.

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.

If a snowboarder can do it a skier defiantly can, what difference does it make if you are going sideways into a jump or straight on. Either person should be able to do it once they get in the air and all things are equal.
