I always thought they were impossible, and im sure this will draw a huge debate. But has anyone else seen pop? david beardmore...I think thats his name, anyway he does a sick cork 1 for all you haters out there.

but, and this is just conjecture, i think that if you started your rotation early enough and hucked it to cork really fast and bring it back around for the landing, that you could possibly land one.

Well sorry if there was already a thread on this. Ive seen threads on cork ones but to date no one has produced any proof of anyone doing one. Besides that stupid house jib cork one that kid from alaska tried when he landed on his face. Either way it wasnt a cork one. And it wasnt stylish at all. this beardmore fellow does a sick one with tons of style too. I havent heard anyone talk about his yet, so I made a post. Deal with it.

Not that I know of...its a snowboard flick so I dont know much about where those clips are online. Someone on here should know, or can at least upload it. I knwo it was david beadmore in pop. And it was on a step up jump kind of, but the fact that it was a step up didnt make it any less of a cork 1....you just ahve to watch. If you havent seen it you are not allowed to have an opinion.

theres was a vid of that cork 1 over the house posted in some other thread, can't remember the link though. he full landed with his face in the snow though. it was still major corked and he landed it, so i spose it was a corked 1. there have been a few pretty corked ones that i've seen, nothing hugely ground breaking though.

seems like it would be easier on a step up than a step down or at least easier to make it look good

it mite be possible if u went corked early and then spun ur 180 at the end, like a late 180, it mite be easier on a hip or sumthin with a bit of kik

And that 180 house jib that kid from alaska did does not count. All he did was go off axis then land on his face, he didnt ever come back from being cork so it doesnt count. I also love all you kiddies up there who are saying a cork one isnt that hard, if its so easy why dont we see you or any other pros doing them

And the jump was a step up sort of but if you watch even if it was a table he would have been able to come around on it, the fact it was a stepup doesnt matter.

I have seen fakie cork 1 an i know dave pauls have been doing them for a long long timeand those are kinda easy but i have yet to see a real corked 180 on a real jump.I know it ispossible to land 180 when you get corked by simply putting you leg on the landing like if you were trying a rocket grab but yea that would not be a real corked 180 since your still corked at the landing

thinkling about it,the closest thing i have seen to a corked 180 would have been boronowsky 180 in session 1242.

to do a cork one you cant land on a traditional landing.....cuz as much as everyone would lovbe to be able to do it you can just decide to change axis of rotaion while midair

doin a cork 180 is the same as doin a backflip to frontflip or 180 reverse 180 it is physically impossible unless the eleents are perfect such as super steep take off and super steep landing. And most of all core leg strength so you dont inilate your face when you land

what i was saying up there was that steele does a a really corked 180 in the 4 frnt add. It probably has alot to do with the fish eye lense they used but it looked really off axis.
